Cupper the Friendly Ghost

Hello Lovelies. I am  having an awful case of writers block when it comes to this post, and I have no idea why. It was a fun project that Hannah loved. The end results are adorable, and it works great as a decoration, or a kitten toy.

Materials Needed:

  • Tissues
  • Yarn
  • Paper Cup (We used a clear plastic one that we covered in white paper. It was difficult to punch holes into, which is why I recommend the paper cup.)
  • Tape or Glue
  • Black Construction Paper Eyes
  • White Crayon
  • Hole Puncher

The first step for this project is to punch 5 holes into the bottom of your cup. Then lace the corner of a tissue into each of the holes to achieve a floating effect.

If you used a paper cup, your next step is to thread a piece of strint through the top of your cup so you have something to hang your ghost from. Because we used a plastic cup, we also had to tape white paper to the cup.

The final step is to color eyeballs onto your construction paper eyes and then tape them to your cup. Hannah had to draw a mouth on our ghost as well.

Isn’t that an adorable project? Don’t you want to hang one from your ceiling fan or on the porch?
I would love to see what you all create.

Happy Haunting. Kristie
